Description

This new arrival is bursting with deep berry notes and a  rich complexity. Notes of dried blueberry and cherry mingle with a hint of raspberry with a rich chocolate finish. These beans are from heirloom coffee trees in the southern part of Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee. Grown by farmer Takele Mammo Denbi as part of the Single Farmer Lots Program, a program developed to promote excellence and access to markets for some of the best coffee growers in Ethiopia. Cultivated on his 8-hectare farm in the Konga disctrict, located in the heart of the coveted Gedeo Zone—the narrow section of plateau dense with savvy farmers whose coffee is known as “Yirgacheffe”.
